Please help. The "followers" gadget seems to have disappeared from my blog sidebar. I can't see it when I go to edit the gadget either. On my dashboard it shows that I have 43 google friend connect followers, but I see no pictures. :( I thought about removing the gadget, and then re-installing it, but I'm scared I'll lose all my followers if I do that. This is so weird. I've never had problems with this before. Could you help me please?

I was noticing the same thing tonight. Mine and every blog I go to isn't showing their followers. I think it's just a problem blogger is having and it will probably be fine tomorrow.
i see the widget with icons in it on my end! maybe clear your cache and refresh?
I can see your followers gadget too, but you can remove/re-add it from your blog layout page without losing your followers. If you're having issues with it, that might help, but my money is on Google being stupid--seems like they've had a lot of issues recently. :P
I can see your followers as well, so I hope whatever was wrong has been fixed.
But, for future reference, if you delete the widget and then re-install it, you won't lose your followers. :)
Thanks everybody! I can see my followers now, and I'm certain it wasn't something I did wrong....a lot of blogs I visited yesterday were missing follower pics. Good to know if you remove and reinstall the gadget you won't lose any followers though! :)
