calling all computer nerds.....

Please help.  The "followers" gadget seems to have disappeared from my blog sidebar.  I can't see it when I go to edit the gadget either.  On my dashboard it shows that I have 43 google friend connect followers, but I see no pictures.  :(  I thought about removing the gadget, and then re-installing it, but I'm scared I'll lose all my followers if I do that.  This is so weird.  I've never had problems with this before.  Could you help me please?

new year

It's a new year.  Time for new & fresh ideas, new resolutions, new goals.  I wanted to give my blog a fresh new look to go along with the new year.  Lighter, more peaceful.  I've been allowing my resolutions and goals to bounce around in my brain for these first few days of 2011.  I'm a little overwhelmed with the planning process that's going on in my head right now.  I think if I could sum up my goals into one sort of phrase or idea, it would be, "follow through".  So many times I come up with all these fantastic ideas only to find myself scared of actually doing them, and coming up with plenty of excuses to not actually do what I intended.  It's easier not to.  It's safer staying in my own little bubble.  The thing is though, ...I'm not comfortable with that anymore.  The time has come for me to really push forward and motivate myself to chase after my dreams, however big or small.  Over the next few days, I plan on sharing with you my 2011 resolution list, my "29 before 30" list, and my blogging plans for this year.  There are lots of brave and exciting changes on the horizon, and I am so optimistic!

change

You know, I can't stop changing the look of my blog.  It's because I don't like the way it looks, but I don't know web design either, so I mess around pretending I do, and I still don't like it.  I spend hours and hours working on blog design, and in the end I still don't like the results.  One day I'll get it.  But for now........I'm reverting back to the simple layout and my favorite background.  It'll have to get me by for now, because blogging is supposed to  be fun, not frustrating.

Hello Lovlies!

I was playing around with my new blog design, and somehow my signature got taken out of my code.  This is just a little test to see how my bright and shiny new one looks.  If you want a signature of your own, you should really check out My Live Signature.  It is super fun and easy.  They even have the magic to use your own handwriting!

  How to install a fancy signature to your blog posts:

1.  Go to your dashboard. (assuming you've copied your signature html code)
2. Click on "settings" and then on "formatting" (at the top of your screen)
3. Scroll down to find an empty "post template"
4. Paste your code into the post template.  Your signature will now show up in all your blog posts!

3 column!

I finally found out how to change my blogger template to a 3 column blog!  I've been wanting to know this since I started blogging.  All the cool bloggers have one.  For some reason (blog design snobbery?) this information is really hard to find, and especially if you don't know squat about HTML.  The instructions here were easy enough to follow though.  This little lady here helped me figure out how to change my header fonts to lowercase.  Good Luck!
